We describe the laparoscopic repair of a bilateral inguinal hernia with percutaneous ligature. The repair of inguinal hernias is one of the most common surgical procedures in children. There are a number of different surgical options. In 1998 a laparoscopic repair was first performed. Here we describe the laparoscopic technique with extraperitoneal dissection and percutaneous ligature.
